Be nice. Allegiant does OK. I am, nowadays merely another old duffer taken up seat spaice that cant be sold to profitable customers. But in the old days I did 5 million miles or so...mostly long haul. I have earned the right to an opinion. I found Allegiant more than adequate last summer.
Note that, while you may have the absolute right to end up with two service dogs in the same row you also must put up with the fact that it is unusual and different...and therefore suspect among the anal bureaucrats.
Give them attendants a break. They get piled on as to how two people got to have dogs in front of them. I got to admit though it would be fun. Particularly if both dogs are good size.
I actually love watching airline people suffer. It is because of the million miles or so (admittedly out of 5 million) that I suffered. I will never give any quarter...save to the lovely ladies who fly over the Pacific. And make life worth living...(Then again there was the night out of Cleveland at 3AM where it was us and the stewardesses on a super constellation...Ah yes...the memories.

How much cheaper than $290-320 R/T were you hoping to go? Do you at least know you should buy your ticket at least two weeks in advance, and fly on TuWeThSa in order to find a flight with the most discounted seats available? Typically flights arriving in LAS on a Friday, and departing anytime Sunday and Monday AM are the hardest to find a discounted seat.

We've really liked allegiant. It's tricky to order tickets on their website without automatically having a bunch of charges you don't want added to your ticket, but if you're careful to remove all of the things they automatically add, then you're okay. They charge a $14 "convenience fee" for buying online, which I find underhanded (since they don't do ANY work when we buy online), and their luggage fee has gone up to $40 a bag roundtrip, but these are sneaky fees that all airlines are implementing (you can't avoid them, unfortunately). I hate sneaky fees at all airlines equally.
Try allegiant. They are cheap, and they do a decent job. I feel bad about the guy who had a problem with the service dogs, but not everyone knows that service dogs aren't considered "pets". I think it's probably a common misunderstanding. I didn't know, I would have automatically classified a dog as a "pet" too.

That could have happened on any airlines. It seems the situation was taken care of.

So because you had a minor problem that had to do with a rare situation that very few are likely to encounter, everyone should avoid the airline?

Try Southwest.com but you will need to book at least a month in advance to get the best rates.
I fly quite often and have always been very happy with them.

We are both Rapid Rewards members and we get offers like this almost daily. Check it out. You might have to join but so what, it's free? We haven't paid for a ticket except for short flights in years, but we also get points on our credit card. I hope it's OK to post this since I'm not soliciting. That is simply a misnomer now a days. WN is no longer the cheapest thing around.
