It stopped a little while ago, and is already melting off the roof. Not gonna last long.

The snow had started to melt by the time I got out with the camera but I thought some of you might like these.

The top and bottom one were taken from on top of the east parking deck at Red Rock Casino. The two middle ones were taken from the intersection of Desert Inn and Durango.

It snowed from about 8:30am to around 10am then it turned to rain. I was woken up after just 4 hours of sleep by my husband all excited yelling "SNOW!" I told him to shut up I just got to sleep. He kept bouncing around all excited, so I dragged my zombie self up and put on something that didn't match, and went downstairs and actually stood outside in the snow with my not matching clothes while in sleepwalking state. And thinking to myself, "Am i dreaming this?" Because in my dreams, I frequently wear mismatching outfits. lol
Once I realized I was actually sort of awake, but not being able to function like a human, when the snow turned to rain, I went upstairs and went back to sleep. I woke up around 1:30 pm expecting to see more snow outside, but nothing, not even a drop of rain.
You Summerlin and Centennial hill people always get the white stuff much more. When I become rich, I am moving west of here so I can have snow too.

One of my coworkers called off because she was afraid to drive in the snow. I didn't believe it....but there it is. Snow.

And I didn't even get a flake. That's just fine with me!

I kick myself for not getting the camera out earlier when it was stuck to the roads. Anyway for those that liked the snowy palm trees here are a couple of others. The first one is close to the one in my other post. The second one is looking north up Pavillion Center towards Charleston.
