check out cheapovegas.com, lots of good info. And in addition to the Entertainment book, look for one I believe is called the American Casino Guide. Has lots of coupons for match play, free slot money, and buffet coupons.

OP: You're doing the right thing by staying on the strip & walking everywhere. The bus is easy to hop onto when you need it. I always bring my guests to the free weekday afternoon show of Big Elvis at Bill's. Everyone gets a kick out of it, & the great $1 Margueritas don't hurt any, either!
(IMO the Entertainment Book has little to offer on the strip or downtown.)

+1

And Vegaslocal is right...Entertainment Book is almost useless without a car. I forgot you were just Stripping...and by foot only.

Gamble all your money as soon as you get here, perhaps you'll hit it big!!

Isn't that the point of Vegas?

Sorry, JFK, this one sucks. We got it when we first got here & couldn't find anything where we couldn't find a better deal on our own. The only coupon we ever used was (I think) $5 off $50 of groceries at Vons. Then, my mom got it for us the next year, not realizing ... same story with that book. I know the Entertainment Book can be useful elsewhere, but Las Vegas is a city with a lot of deals so it's kind of redundant. Save your money.

Gotta give you props for this, I've mentioned a few times this is a FANTASTIC meal. Yeah, it's a dumpy locals casino, but the restaurant has a kitschy retro Vegas vibe (IMHO) & the deal can't be beat. Last time I went it was $6.95 for soup or salad, a 10-oz filet-cut sirloin, garlic-buttered green beans, choice of potato (mashed are great) AND a 22-oz microbrew beer. I've heard it may have gone up a buck, but it's well worth it - they're just east of the strip, on Koval just south of Flamingo DIRECTIONS

Oh, it's been mentioned before but Las Vegas advisor Anthony Curtis' Las Vegas Advisor - Las Vegas Coupons Hotels News and Shows is a great resource for a local or visitor. You can sign up for their QoD (Question of the Day) which is e-mailed daily & provides interesting trivia & info about Las Vegas.

I think that it is still $6.99. And it is still a great deal.

At the Hard Rock Hotel's Lucky's Cafe, they have the $7.77 unadvertised special of steak, shrimp, baked potato and salad. Another great deal.

Ellis Island has dozens of otehr very reasonable specials.

Only trouble with both those places is that they are walking.

Check out cheapovegas.com a lot of ideas there. Also be sure to get a players card at every casino you visit often they will give you coupon books for free stuff. Casino Royale has a good free coupon book along with free slot play and drink coupons also low limit games too.
