A couple friends of mine like Aria, and they stay exclusively at the higher-end properties when they're in town.

Rooms at Aria are nice. Nothing close to a dump.

$40 will get the front desk clerk to re designate the room. A $100 + will get you a room with view besides the parking garage or employee parking lot.

When a clerk accepts the $20 bill, and either places it to the side as he completes the transaction...or slips it into his/her pocket...isn't this picked up by security cameras?

That's just wrong. Sort of like parking in a handicap spot. What if a person with a real disability wanted to book an ADA room and they were all taken with that kind of shinanigans.

I was at the Palazzo last night and it was no more or less 'dirty' than any other property. I saw at least 4-5 attendants on the floor. I was there from
6pm to 830pm. Looked fine to me, considering there were thousands of people streaming in from the AEE and CES conventions. Used the restroom off the casino floor and it was spotless.
