I'll look at the 89012 area.
Some downtown's are coming back and others aren't. It doesn't hurt to ask, right?! :-)
It is not that kind of downtown. It was main street on a small heavy industrial suburban community. It was never a city downtown.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't housing more expensive in Hemderson? I recall my husband and I checking out there and the price per square foot was higher. Of course that was 2 years ago, maybe it has changed.

Henderson is a city of a quarter million. It has relatively expensive places like Green Valley Ranch and Seven Hills. It has moderately priced places like in 89074 or 89002 and very inexpensive places around the old downtown.

I live in the zip code 89148 and love it here. I have also lived in the area 89123 and 89141. Both were very nice areas.

Good luck and happy hunting!!

I live in 89012 - I live within walking distance of Smith's (grocery), Starbucks and Chase Bank which are all in the shopping center at Valley Verde and Paseo Verde. This is the Green Valley Ranch area.
