Hello all,

This is my first post on the Nevada > Las Vegas site. I will be in Las Vegas from 04/06 - 04/09 and, among other things, would like to buy Hostess Chocodiles to bring home. (They're not available east of the Mississippi.)

Does anyone recall seeing them recently? Where?

Nope. Me neither. But Ethel M's (or is it just Ethel's now?) chocolate factory has candy unique to Las Vegas. Not cakes, but...they have liquor in them and you can get a sugar high, a chocolate fix, and get drunk at the same time.

I can't seem to find Whoopee Pies in Las Vegas anymore either.

I've seen both the chocodiles and whoopie pies at the 99 cent stores. They often carry snacks, candy or gum that is discontinued elsewhere. I also saw the chocodiles at a gas station, think it was a Circle K but can't remember, and not sure how long ago.

I recently went to the AM/PM right by the M casino and they had an endcap of Hostess snacks with chocodiles on the bottom shelf. The display was facing the soda/slushie machines.
