I'll be traveling w/ my kids across country this summer. Well, my kids and our rabbit (relocating after divorce). And, no, we can't get rid of the rabbit, my kids LOVE him & he is sweet and affectionate and loves us, too.

I have sought out hotels in every locale that take pets & am paying an extra $35 a night (ouch) to bring our rabbit in the room w/ us.

Problem is, in Las Vegas I want to stay at a hotel w/ nice pools but they won't take pets. I already called and asked but it's an absolute no. And they won't allow non-guests to come use the pools.

In this one instance I am considering sneaking the rabbit in. It would be easy, he's quiet. We are very neat and clean people and they wouldn't even know he had been there (I assume a 'do not disturb' sign on the door would keep the maid out).

Is this just too incredibly wrong to even consider?

The only wrongness in it might be if the next renter(s) is allergic to rabbit fur.

THAT is a great point. I certainly would not want to do that to someone.

The only defense I have in that is the rabbit would be kept in the bathroom w/ a litter box (yes, rabbits are trainable for litter boxes) & we would, of course, clean up all messes.

Cameras are everywhere. I'd imagine that it'd be pretty hard to sneak it in.

FWIW, the Rio allows pets.

Sneak away. A little good intention larceny is food for the soul. Makes you a better person.

Make up an offical looking document that says he is a service animal for one of your children's depression. Maybe with a state seal and all. If they nail you pull it out and threaten to sue.

In what way would this be larceny? I am not taking their property.

If you wish to be legally proper when getting advice on committing a misdemeanor perhaps you deserve to be caught.

Now we know why you are divorced...

Paris takes pets. At least, they take dogs. They have a room called a "PetStay Luxury".

You know nothing about why I am divorced. You can't extract a single inquiry about a sliver of a thought and impose it on one's entire married relationship.

True...but you used it as justification for your endeavor did you not?

Now go try again...I was being supportive before you started whacking at me...and you really don't want to do that.
