Interesting. It's a bit of a drive for me as well. What are they like price wise in comparison to say sunflower market?

Their produce is usually very cheap - especially when it is on sale. However, their canned items and paper products are more expensive than other grocery chains. Here is a link to their weekly ad:

Glazier's Food Market Place (http://www.glaziersfoodmarketplace.com/weeklyads/v1.asp - broken link)

Some prices:

Romaine, red or green leaf lettuce: .68 ea
California navel oranges: .98 for 3 lbs
apples (including specialties such as Fuji): .76/lb
mangoes: .69/ea
seedless grapes: 1.68/lb
tomatoes on the vine: 1.44/lb
organic Italian squash .98/lb

Glaziers is one heck of a drive from here. The only way I will go there, I have to be doing something in that area. Too far to go just for some cheap produce.

Their meat is pretty good, too. I love that they feature a few local items, last time we were there, an older gentleman had a little stand in the store giving out samples of his own family's BBQ sauce, made and bottled in Henderson, and at another stand a lady was giving away samples of cookies/cakes created and baked right here in Las Vegas. Wine from Pahrump was featured at another stand.

Also, Glazers has some East Coast specialties that you don't normally find in the regular supermarkets (although those items are a bit expensive). Wise Potato Chips and Yankee Doodles are my personal favorites.
I third that. Love Glaziers.

I agree about Wise potato chips. We love them and could only find them at Capriottis sandwhich shops sold in three sizes. We'd go by a sandwhich and like 3 big bags of chips and they'd look at us like we were crazy.....but they were the best. I love the onion and garlic.....the hubby and kids like the jalapeno.

We ended up going to Glaziers. Made sure we had a few other stops out that way just so we could go. It's much bigger than I thought. A nice big store. Way the heck out there if you are coming from the north or northwest. The produce section sort of reminds me of a cross between the old Wild Oats and the current Whole foods, but with much lower prices on most items. There are brands in there that I haven't seen since I was a teen. Plus everyday name brands you see everywhere else.
Found a few things I've never found before like the flame baked pretzels. White radishes. Korean pears. And some nice whole grain graham crackers that I never knew existed.
The cats will be trying some new canned cat food this week.
Now if they would just get a store closer to my side of town, I would shop there often. Put one right between Aliante and Centennial Hills.

You have that backwards. You're the one who lives way the heck out there.

They will actually purchase and stock items based on customer input.
