My sis says 89074... which is great but hows North Las Vegas? Is it ghetto?

Thank you!

What's a decent job? What's Ghetto?

These are very subjective terms.

I would think property management might not be a great job unless you managed a few properties but I don't know.

89074 is not too bad really.

North Las Vegas is partly ghetto but not all. Depends where you move too. 89074 is not in North Las Vegas.

I don't know how your cats will adjust. Try watching 'MY Cat From Hell' 8pms sat night on Animal Planet.

$10 an hour is being awful generous for most of those jobs. Most are more around $8.

A load of B.S. Old Nlv, which is downtown, and over by I-15 is crappy. The upper North Valley, north of Craig, west of MLK is just fine.
Even better, north of Ann, west of MLK.

I agree, hey, if they have the Blls to do it, then let them. The worst that could happen to them is they fail and go back to where they came from.

For decades people have been doing that here in LV, it won't ever stop.

You just gotta give them your blessing and wish them well

Theres ghetto in Vegas. Its just that the buildings are newer...they were built in 1985, not 1885.

The job market here really is that bad. The problem in itself is not finding a job, its finding one that is stable and pays enough money to covers your bills and save a lil for later. I personally have NEVER had trouble finding a job, but I cant find anything solid out here

North Las Vegas is not bad at all if you're north of Craig, north of Ann is even better just like Pinkstring said. Try looking around Centennial Pkwy and North 5th Street, that area is very new with a large Target shopping center just a few blocks away. Its also close to Aliante as well and the 215 freeway

Next week my gf and I will be moving to Centennial Hills off Ann Road and 95. And its very nice over there, but its a bit more busy than Aliante, but you may want to look into living there as well. Two major freeways close by, tons of shopping, great schools, low crime, close to the mountains, beautiful views, NW Las Vegas is the best

Best of luck to you and your husband

Here are some other good zips
89130, 89149, 89131, 89166, 89143 (all Centennial Hills)

North Las Vegas 89031, 89084, 89081, 89086

Henderson: 89052, 89012, 89074
In Henderson a lot of people live in 7 Hills, Anthem, or Green Valley. But traffic in Henderson is HORRIBLE, especially along Eastern Ave and 215. Henderson has Green Valley Ranch Casino, along with a lot of high end shopping at Green Valley and 215, alos near Sunset Road and 95 is the Galleria at Sunset Mall, as well as Sunset Station casino. A lot of professional people in Las Vegas live in Henderson and the schools from what I hear are very good. Also in Henderson, you would be a bit (not by much though) closer to both the strip and airport than in North Las Vegas

OH.... Your cats won't have any trouble adjusting at all. I moved my kitties all over and as long as they were with me, no big deal.
