Pretty much equivalent to Century Link/Prism...and not really competitive with Cox.

The ILEC (Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier, aka "phone company") in Las Vegas is CenturyLink, not AT&T, so you can't get any residential services from AT&T. Also, U-verse doesn't do fiber to the home. AT&T does fiber to the remote terminal, then copper for the last bit to the home, just like CenturyLink. Verizon FiOS is fiber to the home.

I was under the impression that Century Link is just IPTV like U-Verse and does not use FIOS for delivery.

It is, and does not. I didn't mean to suggest otherwise in my post. That last bit of copper can be thousands of feet.

I have Uverse in El Paso Davie. I think it is overpriced. Even with a package deal I pay about $203 a month for phone, internet and U300. They hook you with the cheap intro and then sock it to you later. Hubby doesn't want to switch.

I think the 30-30-30 deal is roughly $140 after the first year of discounts, if you still get the Gold discount they mention on the website after the first year. I'd also go out on a limb and say this doesn't include any HD or DVR boxes so those will be a considerable upcharge ($17 a month for 1 HD DVR!)
