Hi guys,

I will be in Vegas in July and I want to book in a hotel which is connected to a mall. Do you recommend any ? the budget is upto $280 per night.

Many thanks,

Ceasers, Venetian, Palazzo, Wynn, Treasure Island is right next to Fashion Show mall. Why do you specifically want a mall?

Hi,

I will be in a conference everyday upto 5 pm. My wife and kids will wait me. So, I want them to have nice time while I am at work. she does not drive and realy it will be hot to go out, I do not want her to have hard time looking after 2 kids.

If the mall is down... they can play, shop, eat and have nice time.

Some guys told me to book in Planet Hollywood ... what do you think?

Almost every property has some sort of shopping or is very close to a large shopping area. dfwm23's suggestions would be excellent for proximity to shopping.

Planet Hollywood is very nice and has a really good mall with some features that will keep the kids happy. Only downside I can think of it's a little further walk if she gets bored there and wants to go to another mall. Caesars Forum Shops will keep the wife happy, and can be entertaining for the kids too, and is almost, but not quite, connected to the Mirage and TI. The Fashion Show Mall is huge and is connected to Treasure Island and Wynn by walking bridges. Venetian has a nice mall, though not as nice as PH or Caesars Forum, but it is also connected by a walking bridge to the hotels across the street that connect to a mall. There is more shopping within that four block area on the Strip than you can find in total in many cities. Hard to make a bad choice. Another consideration could be to pick Mandalay Bay for things like the Shark Reef. My granddaughter goes there all the time and never gets tired of it. Mandalay Bay also has a great pool, although it's more like a water park than a simple pool. You can take the tram from Mandalay Bay to the Luxor, to the Excalibur, then a walking bridge to the MGM, and New York New York, etc. You almost can do the whole Strip without going out too much in the sun. Don't forget the monorail either.

How many kids and what ages makes a difference too. If they are old enough, the heat won't affect them that much, and they could spend a whole day at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard (The Strip) and Tropicana Avenue, and be totally entertained.

With younger kids, I would suggest finding your hotel based on the pool rather than the mall. The pool will be the best bet because it is free, wears them out, and can entertain kids for hours.

I agree, and from my recent experience there would recommend the Mirage. Just keep them away from the Bare pool.

My vote, and it is biased, is to park them at the Trump Int'l.
Yes, it's non-smoking, non-gaming., and not-quite-on-the-Strip, BUT
the main lobby is across the street from the entrance to Nordstroms
(in the Fashion Show Mall), and Circus Circus is 1/2 mile or so up the road
by cab where the kids can go to the Adventure Dome there.

Are you effin kidding me???? Daddy needs money to play at night after the conference. I say get them working for you...the kids can become junior snappers...it'll keep them busy giving out the escort cards on The Strip...and 2 kids will bring in double the money! But for the serious cash...get that wife working as a daytime escort. They'll all be so tired by the time you get out each night, that you'll just need to buy them a decent meal, kiss them goodnight...and head for the craps tables!

C'mon....this is Sin City!
