Default Las Vegas is a rollercoaster haven?

Saw this on MSN tonight, found it interesting. Have any of you guys been on these rides, and could you rate them 1 to 5?

Thanks.

Id much rather go to ANY six flags park for their roller coasters than do the rides here in Vegas

+1

Vegas coasters are tame. I do want to step off the Stratosphere (and live to tell about it), that attraction looks terrifyingly good (although expensive).

The only good thing about Ohio is that they have 2 of the top 5 parks in the U.S....we miss that...Cedar Point is awesome for roller coasters and Linds Island is not far behind...Las Vegas coasters leave little to the enjoyment factor

I just think a roller coaster as a stand alone attraction is a side show type event.

Amusement parks translate to admission fee followed by a full day of rides and coasters. A Las Vegas roller coaster is admission fee followed by a single ride and then figuring out what you are going to do with the rest of your day (minus 15 minutes).

They aren't that bad. I mean if they were that important to someone they would head elsewhere for their vacations, but the rides are generally decent and unique. Badmouth the Strat all you want, but that X-scream is like nothing else and a huge upgrade from the lame rides they had when the place opened. Manhattan Express is quite good, but expensive. And Desperado out at Stateline is crazy fun, but its not the Vegas Strip. I do think they are overdoing it on the Circus Circus, that one is kind of tame.
