We have been looking at places to rent in and around Green Valley... looked at a townhome near Pecos and Pebble today. Very clean, but it was a good $250 - $300 less than most of everything else we are looking at in Green Valley and Green Valley Ranch with similar amenities. We are trying to figure out if there is a reason or if this is just our lucky day. Any thoughts on this neighborhood?

I like it ok. You're zoned for Schofield middle school and Silverado high. It's not as ammenity filled or organized as Silver Springs to the slight northeast (or other Green Valley areas), or as new as Green Valley Ranch just south of the 215. Your main shopping will be off of Green Valley and Pebble, you're very close to the Distict, easy access to the 215 (seconds away). When you chose a place like Silver Springs, Green Valley Ranch, Anthem, Seven Hills, you are paying partly for lots of organized shopping, greenery, trails, rec centers, parks etc. That could account for slightly cheaper housing on those streets. That area is nice though in that it is also close to the Pitman wash for long walks. Pretty nice area.
