I was just informed that the Blue Diamond site originally pegged for Chick-fil-A has started construction (markings and stakes). Anyone know if this is still a planned CFA site? The developer's plans originally indicated so but that was a year ago and they no longer have information on their site.

The specific location is in Blue Diamond Crossing, in the plot of land immediately to the west of Del Taco (the new In n Out is under construction on the other side of Del Taco).

I would say that it will probably not be a CFA location. After Visiting several CFA branches in Atlanta in May, I was excited to learn that a Chjick-Fil-A was planned for the Lake Mead Crossing Development in Henderson. However about a month ago, a close friend of mine who knows some folks at the Henderson City planning Department, informed her that Chick-Fil-A had backed out of the agreement if there was ever one at all. I sent a message to CFA and received a pretty generic message that they did not have any plans for expansion in this area. Perhaps they are coming and just want to be secretive about it, or we are just vicitims of the poor economy and Las Vegas's tag of Sin City which may or may not clash with the Strong religious beliefs of the owners of this great concept. All things aside, I will just wait and hope for the best. Oh, the food was good too!
