I have found a couple of good jobs that started out as temp positions (I am an administrative assistant) through agencies (specifically Office Team and Talent Tree - not sure if those are in Vegas). I am new to LV so I will be looking at that route among others. That being said, I googled Apple One and there are a LOT of negative reviews in LV.

I did a temp stint one summer for Robert Half which is an employment agency and several headhunters there liked indeed.com for job searches because it culls from a lot of different websites including Career Builder and Monster and more. HTH!

Almost every place of business in Vegas has lots of negative reviews. It seems apparently only the dissatisfied are the ones who own computers and complain about stuff online, no praise anywhere. The internet is a negative place

Your point is very valid. People are always quicker to complain and rarely praise. Same way about customer service....they'll let you know something wasn't right, but rarely compliment you, especially in writing.

Apple One staffed a lot of the call centers in Tampa, Florida where I am from. They were known for not doing background checks or drug screenings. If you were unhirable every where else, Apple One would find you something.

You must be in a very specialized field. I have had 2 friends move there in the past couple of months who were employed within a few weeks. If you can't find a job in 2 years, I wouldn't necessarily blame every single one of the thousands of employers in LV..

in the last year thatI worked [pre-retirement] I hired 11 people in one small department in a medium sized casino hotel....when I left [Apr30 last year] 2 had not survived probation, 3 had transferred to other positions in the hotel, 2 had left for other properties, 1 [my replacement was still going strong, and the remaining 3 were performing spectacularily in the positions i hire them for .....

If you can't find work in two years, go into the bathroom and look in the mirror....THERE is the problem.
