Hey Everyone!
I'm hoping to get some tips and advice from the Las Vegas locals. I've surfed around the boards and everyone seems pretty decent and willing to offer advice, so I hope this works!
I'm moving to Las Vegas and I'm looking for an apartment in the range of $600-$800. I'm fine with a one bedroom, but a two bedroom, two bath would be ideal. I've heard great things about the Green Valley area. Anywhere else? I'm looking for safe, clean, and affordable.
This is proving to be a little more difficult since I am not familiar with the different neighborhoods and whatnot. Any helpful response would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

There are at least 20 recent threads that have answers for you, including specifics about Green Valley. There are also threads that examine crime by zip code, apartments in your price range and everything else you could possibly want to know.

You don't even have to search for them, just scroll down. They're quite well marked.

Hey ScoopLV. I've scrolled through many pages...but most of the threads aren't really about what I am looking for. I'm not 20 and moving from Florida or moving from the land down under. I have a job, just trying to figure out the housing situtation. Most of those responses weren't about actual places to live. Most of the other threads were about the city of Las Vegas (which I found helpful about general knowledge and what is going on around town). The random thread that I had found, which actually is how I discovered this site, was REALLY helpful but now I can't find it again. Ugh. It had nearly 20 pages of responses and was great! I'm going crazy trying to find it again.

Considering moving to Henderson

Tell me everything about Green Valley Ranch, good and bad...

Good Neighborhood to live Las Vegas

Thinking about moving to Henderson, NV. Advice?

Early 20s moving to Henderson

That's only TWO PAGES worth of threads, and it took me just a few minutes to find for you. I don't know about anyone else, but I really prefer answering specific questions -- not the "what's such-and-such area like?" questions I that I see at least five a day.

Also be on the look out for olecapt's crime map thread. That's very helpful, as well.

Thanks Scoop. I had seen some of those. A few I had not. I will think of some specific questions and post them later tonight. I appreciate the help. And I will definately search for the crime map! So is Green Valley then part of Las Vegas or Henderson? Just wondering.
