i'd love to respond to this, but i don't exactly know what your point is. research what? again you fail to make any sense. and for the love of jebus, please don't attempt to be condescending w/ another "i should have figured posters here wouldn't get it" or other such nonsense.
i'll try to address some of what you puked out:
nowhere did i say P&T didn't thrive here because they were here...this is a great town for them as their show appeals to a wide range of people due to its blend of humor, skepticism, magical theatrics, and social commentary. u asked for shows that were unique to vegas...i gave you one.
my point about joe cocker et al. was that there are very few places that one could enjoy the varied music i did on that one night (punk, blues-rock, and lounge) all w/in walking distance of each other. that is another of the uniqueness of this town... it doesn't matter whether you personally like the music i like...the point is that it is all here!
again...and really please give me an answer here: research what? you really do just type stuff w/o thinking don't you?
but thank you for pointing out it was a good post...i thought so as well.
keep up the good work sheriff...you make the rest of us look good

Unreal. So last night I went to Love, and saw the 8th Cirque production set to CANNED Beatle music, then I raced to HOB and caught Joe Cocker covering Beatle tunes, I wanted so much to see Guess Who, without their frontman, who made the band, but I ran to BS to catch Rain do their Beatle tribute. Tomorrow I plan to see one of the LV Philharmonic's 5 perfomances of the season, and maybe one of the Nv Ballet's 5 performances of the season, and then over to catch some sitar music at one of the Cesspool's cutting-edge venues. LV is what it is, but you don't know what it is, a PARODY of ITSELF.

sorry, lady...."can't see the forest for the trees" - it's an idiomatic phrase meaning that you are overly concerned with detail and not understanding the whole situation (or conversation in this case).
please let us know if this hasn't cleared it up for you...i'm sure someone can help.

Wow. Now I get it. Posting little things such as details about why LV is TheCesspool is not relavant. Thank you for providing this thread with all your worldly knowledge, and info about the Cesspool only a resident of LV could possibly provide.
