Yeah but those religions all suck because Christmas is FUN with Santee Claws and all the blinking bright colored lights. It is the only time of the year that the average American can make his house look like a Vegas casino and not look like a fool.

Nope, Dominion Day is what Canada Day was formally known as, which is July 1st. After Remembrance Day (Your Veteran's Day) the winter holiday season pretty much kicks off. Since I'm only a few hours from the Montana border, Black Friday has been known to slow down our debit/credit card network up here. (Worked the last 7 years in retail.) But to not completely derail or hijack the thread. I shall be in Las Vegas for the American Thanksgiving this year too...

I have always wanted to spend Thanksgiving in Las Vegas. Spouse and I have no children but he insists on cooking a full Thanksgiving feast for two people. A waste in my opinion but hubby loves the Holidays.
