There are so many elements that are considered actually, it can never be put in terms of one or two things. For me, I'm going to nail as many as possible to make sure I'm not considered a CA resident anymore. These things include but are not limited to:

-Dentist and doctor in NV.
-Register car in NV with NV driver's license.
-More expensive home in NV compared to CA.
-Local clubs in Nevada (for instance, Camaro Sin City)

It also has very little to do with where you spend most of your time in a given year. California doesn't consider you a resident unless you spend more than 9 months in a year there for non-work purposes. If, for instance, I shoot a movie in California and then stick around for post-production, etc., and happen to be in California almost the entire year on work purposes, that doesn't make me a resident of California.

Also, there's a good chance that in the future I will not spend "most" of my time anywhere. It will be more like 5 months in Vegas, 3 months in California, 3 months in Oregon, and a month in Cabo / other vacations.

ACTUALLY....no one in Nevada could G.A.S. about the way Kalifornia or ohia or any other place in the world determines its residency.

IF YOU HAVE A JOB IN NV YOU ARE A RESIDENT OF THE STATE.....E.O.D.[endof discussion]

The notion of "having a job in NV" can get a little fuzzy. I, for example, am self-employed and make my money from clients around the country. I do indeed live in NV (because I spend most of my time here), but I can certainly see people in such a situation splitting their time between several locations.

That being said I have no problem with the people that dodge paying for registration etc so long as they realize that i don wanna here em bich when they get caught

If you just paid cash for a 5,000 sq house leave your poor mom out of the equation, take a small second on the house and pay cash for a relatively newer model used car.

There is a saying in the Casino Industry....Money talks Bull**** walks.

Yeah, I figure one of two things. Someone is fibbing about paying cash for a 5,000 square foot house, in Summerlin, no less. OR Mumsie put the cash down for the house so precious would FINALLY move out at 35 years old.
