I never go to Thrift Shops, mostly because it never occurs to me, but we give so much stuff to Goodwill they should give us points in the place. I know you'll find some nice stuff there because it used to be mine.

no idea who rick is.

as per GW giving you points they will give you a receipt that you can use towards your taxes.

there are several GW's in LV so not sure which one your so called nice stuff will be located.... sometimes if the merch is not sellable they sell them as rags and or bulk to other countries.

if it bothers you that they don't do MORE for your charitable gifts if they are worth anything sure you can make some money on EBAY.

A Lutheran thrift store in that same general area. A couple of thrift stores on Charleston near the UMC area. Can't remember the names though, sorry.

Get the Savers card and save money when they have the color of the day.
Goodwill has different days of mark downs, get their monthly calendar free at any of their stores. Also they do the color of the day, always half off. Wednesdays for 55+ half off. Sundays, color of the day is 75% off.
Most but not all of the thrift stores have a senior discount, just ask. Deseret does not.

I have noticed lately that the prices are going up at Goodwill, Savers and Deseret. Signs of the times I guess. But when books get too expensive for used, I will just wait and buy new. Or troll garage sales for better bargains.

wow gw does this not in N. nV its Salvation that does this do you have them confussed???? or maybe each gw runs different.

Savers is a bit over priced but i will check out the card. thank you

Gee. I didn't know any of that.

Your snide remarks aside, Rick and Big Hoss are the father/son stars (along with "The Old Man" and Chumlee) on Pawn Stars, the number one rated cable show which is recorded at Gold & Silver Pawn Shop on Las Vegas Boulevard. That would be in Las Vegas.

If one had a sense of humor he'd know a joke when he heard one. If he knew anything about Las Vegas, he'd know a local joke when he heard one.

Could you repeat the first sentence so i can figure it out better? All the info I put in about the thrift stores is accurate, since I go to them all a lot looking for books.
