Default Lol. Omg. Rip.

Remember as of October 1st 2011 the NO CELL PHONE when driving rule goes into effect, with penalties including fines, arrest and death.

Read more about it HERE

I love being in front of some moron texting while driving waiting for them to smash into my car, I have often fantasized about taking their *&)_% phone and smashing it

As you know, NY has had that law for awhile. Don't expect big improvement...it is about enforceable as the law against removing mattress tags by non-owners.

We've had that law in Washington state with only moderate improvement. But on a side note, doesnt this go against the grain in the libertarian Nevada?

They can only give warnings for that first few months or so. I don't recall the exact date the warnings cease.

They can only give warnings with respect to the CELL PHONE usage HOWever....hmmm, sir/ma'am your seat belt isnt on correctly, your radios too loud, you were doing .007 mph over the speed limit, your windows are too dark, your hair is too blonde, have you had anything to drink in the last 23 years, UGLY season isnt for another 3 days....and on and on and on.....I stopped using the cell in traffic TOTALLY the day the bill was passed...and had only used it occassionally before that.

It is slowly filtering in to NV....it is what happens when so many people lack common sense.

Actually, as happy as I am to see this....I expect nothing.....the first problem that i see is that NV has NEVER enforced the window tint law.....so the gestapo will never know if youre on the phone or not cause they cant see you.

When the windows are up on my Sonata, there is no way you can tell if anyone is on the phone....
If someone drive with their seat way back "Gangsta" style, they are concealed behind the door post and you cant see if theyre on the phone..... I love the theory behind the law but the practical application is non-existant.

I love speeding past people, then getting on my phone at stop lights just to **** people off when they look at me.
