What was the price for the buffet? Are there kid prices? Do they possibly have the peanut crusted chicken (not sure what it is called but it is very similar to the Japanese dish tonkatsu)? I love a good Chinese buffet and so do my kids, but they can be picky. Thanks

price was 15.xx for adults (sunday price...other days were a couple bucks cheaper). there were definately kid options...based on height, i think (under such and such = free, under something else was 1/2 price).

not sure on the peanut crusted chicken, but there was a dish or two along that line.

i went w/ two people who appreciate a good buffet...both gave it great reviews. like i said, nothing was bad...some stuff was ok (orange chicken was only ok, oysters weren't briney enough)...some stuff was really good (good spicy chicken, crispy squid, sushi, assorted shellfish). overall, a good deal.

I had forgotten the Copa Lounge. There are barely any traces of old Vegas left.

maybe i will put up a post w/ my reviews. haven't got around to hitting many of the suggested bars or restaurants yet as i have been kinda busy.

but i really like the huntridge area...i can walk the dogs to jaycee park and let them run off leash there (they have already made good dog friends). and a 15 min shot down boulder hwy gets me to horsemans and dog fanciers where the boys can really run. also there are numerous places open late (24 hour torta place on charleston has been been a late dinner numerous times) and a decent filipino bakery on sahara and maryland. i need to get some free time to investigate some of the other nearby locations (esp. some of the dive bars).

i dig being so close to the east fremont area and art district...lotsa places that need exploring in there. hopefully i will have some more good reviews to come.
