I very seldom correct anyones spelling or grammar and when I do it is for cause...a grievous breach that should not have been made. I cannot resist when one blows an attempt to appear erudite. That of course was not your problem. For you to appear intelligent would require a medium sized miracle.
Note that I am a somewhat dyslexic typist and most often edit things four or five times. That is why I seldom throw stones...my words are of glass.
Moslem is an acceptable variant of muslim. Both are I believe attempts to anglicize an arabic word.

Did somebody say I was way off base when I mentioned that there are people here that hate their own country?
Anyone who would say something that stupid should be strapped to a bomb and dropped on Iran.
Is he an idiot, insane, or just evil?

They probably got you mixed up with me. I love to correct spelling when it is made frequently and is not just a typo. On one of these threads I pointed out that several people say "alot" as if it were one word when it should be two, as in "a lot". I don't know about your computers but mine has ieSpell in the tool bar. It doesn't always work well though and some typos get through even after a thorough proof read.
BTW: Capitalize Muslim and Arabic please.

The government is not the country, they are just the rulers. Since you have expressed a desire to murder me and bomb Iran, I guess that makes you a terrorist as well.

Worldwide, most folks proclaim to love our country and hate our government. Not that I side completely with asik, the fact that he can express his negative feelings about our government is a testament as to how great our country is.
I'd prefer sweeping changes without the destruction of D.C. personally. If you haven't been, it's worth the trip to see our greatest monuments.

If a country's greatest monuments are government buildings and memorials to dead politicians, then that is one sorry country. Try the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, etc.
The government will take as much power as it can get away with. If the government imprisoned critics as they would like, they would have a revolution on their hands. They don't refrain from the goodness of their hearts, if they even have hearts. The time for naivety has passed.

To quote a true American treasure, "I've been everywhere, man. I've been everywhere." Our history is paved with the bones of the innocent and the misdeeds of many. It is hard to delve into our nation's past without some deep resentment as to what was left out of our schoolbooks (bombing of Dresden was a real shocker for me among many) but I refuse to believe that it cannot continue to evolve into a truly free and democratic union.
We have the foundation, we have the idea, we've just executed poorly for, well....awhile now.

No, you expressed a desire to nuke my nation's capitol. As a Marine it is my duty to protect my country and it's leaders from nut cases like you. Or are you just naive and mis-informed? Doesn't really matter though if you side with terrorists who would destroy my people...and you just quit being one of my people.
