Where can i find this... or who can make it?
I have an idea for my business and need some help or a referral. I have a 10x10 canopy that i put up when i am at an event. I need a 10' LIGHTWEIGHT pole of some sort (broken down into 3 pieces.. 4' 4' 2' that can screw together into 10') and that can "clamp" at each end of the canopy. From this pole, i will attach my boards so the customers can see my work. Since it clamps on, it would be adjustable to different sizes of boards. Right now I use easels, but when outdoors this drives me crazy due to the wind.. etc.. Hopefully someone knows where in Vegas I can find this, or maybe someone could fabricate it for me.....
I found it online, but it's $110 for a couple pieces that i think can be done for next to nothing...
i'll post a link....

I'd find a woodworker and have the whole shebang fabricated from wood. Wood ages better than metal, and it will end up being heavier. Which is a bonus from a wind standpoint.

It might be a good idea to just go ahead and pay the money. Between buying supplies and labor I can't see where there would be all that much savings.. Then again you can try one of those $5.00 do anything sites and have someone make a design plan for you and then have it fabricated or do it yourself.

you realize that this is just the pole, not the canopy right?

Found this, which makes wonder if the same can be made by buying parts somewhere. Looks like the closest to you is LA.

Drill a hole in end caps , add a nut inside and out and tighten using one of these eye bolts. You'll have to straighten it out (I've done it - don't cuss at me while doing it!) so it will fit in the holes like I saw in your link. A couple of lock washers with each nut so it won't come loose.

Weight was my biggest concern. Aluminum tubing doesn't seem to be a big item in stores.
You should have some adjustment with the threaded ends, end caps, and the connectors that work end-to-end. With the right combo of pipe lengths that might suffice.
Coupler, that's what it is.
