Default Employment question for those who moved to Vegas recently

Did you have a job before you moved? If so did you use the usual suspects to find it (monster,hot,craigs,...)? How was the process?

IF you didn't have a job before moving how long did it take for you to find a job. I understand that you can find a job at the local Del Taco fairly easily, I'm NOT interested in that type of job. ha ha ha Although if my money ran out you'd definitly see me asking if you wanted beans on that!!! ha ha HEY gotta do what you gotta do right!!! ha ha ha

I am interested in hearing from everyone. However I'm extremely interested in those with a college degree who obtained or was looking for a professional job.

Thanks

I moved from Tijuana to San Diego, then Las Vegas, it took me almost a year to get a professional position, I posted my resume on many job boards, they do respond but also they are slow. Now I'm happy where I work.
It is great that you have an open mind when things don't go as planned, I started to work for an Italian bakery as a driver, then couple of months moved up as a Maintenance Tech, then Delivery Manager, but I took a hit in October/November as I was laid off because of slow sales, in retrospect that was the kind of push I need it, why? I applied to so many job places after, that literally they became a blooming bed of flowers, every body suddenly were interested in my services.
Yes you must have patience, and if you have a Degree that is even more favorable for you.
