Default can anyone reccomend an honest place to sell some gold cufflinks?

Hi,
still new to town and am learning there are a lot of crooks here lol i have an old pair of 14k cufflinks that id like to sell. i never wear them and want to take advantage of the high gold prices. but at times i feel like everyone looking to buy gold seems shady. im just looking for an honest guy. i know you can get really high prices on gold bc they can always melt it down and just sell the gold. im looking to get as much as i can and deal with an honest guy. any recommendations? summerlin or NW is preferred.

thanks!

Do you know the range of what your cufflinks are worth? If you dont just go around to all the pawn shops and see who gives you the best price.

Pawn shops will give you the lowest price. Go there only if you are desperate. I see way too many people getting ripped off on Pawn Stars. They would do much better on ebay.
Go to different jewelers around town and see what they are worth. Then ebay them! Or let the jeweler that gives you the highest bid buy them.

they appear to be 14k golf cuff links. i am seeing a range of $750 - $1400 depending on weight if they are real. i am 90% sure they are. they have the 14k stamp on them and the person that gave them to me doesnt play around with fake gold. Also, back when i got them they were prob worth only 200 or 300. now that gold is through the roof, they are worth so much more. i am fairly cerain they are real.

I recommend you keep what little gold you have. You're going to regret selling it in the years ahead.

Pah.

If it gets as bad as you and Evilrobitussinburgermeister seem to think it's going to get, gold isn't going to help. People will need ammo more than gold.

(And I don't think it's going to get any worse than it is now.)

As far as selling them, eBay. That's the closest you'll get to market value. Everyone else is just going to rip you off.

Don't expect to get the big bucks per ounce .. not going to happen... Possibly a jeweler would buy them for the most. 14k is not pure gold.. it is approx. 58% gold.. so figure if the links weigh 2oz, you might have 1oz of gold...
