Does anybody know where I can buy muscadine or scuppernong grapes? I can't seem to find them ANYWHERE, Whole Paycheck, Trader Joes, Albertsons, Vons, Smiths, nobody seems to have them or even know what they are

These grapes grow mainly in FL and GA, with a thick skin, they are green or purple, usually they are used to make wine but I eat them as a snack

does anybody know of a specialty store or special produce market here in las vegas that might have them

Try Glaziers market. They seem to have hard to find items. I actually found white radishes there once. No other store in the valley had them.

The only place I've seen muscadine and scuppernogs, were growing wild in Alabama.

I bought some a few weeks ago at Whole Foods - $8.99 a pound.

If you bought it at the salad bar you only paid $5.99 or so. I guess I wasn't the only one who figured that out, so they mixed in some cheaper fruit with the Dragon Fruit and called it "Thai fruit salad".

Davie, I would lay off the mescaline if you think you will need to be looking for a job.

What are you.talking about Bledsoe? I'm not on drugs

Pink, Glaziers didn't have them. I'm at Glaziers right now and I gotta say this store is AWESOME!

Now they need a location in CH and all will be well

There's your problem, right there. Most of our produce comes from California, and to a lesser extent, Arizona, Mexico, and even locally.

It doesn't make a whole lotta buncha sense to truck grapes in from the East Coast.

Incidentally, my "Bountiful Baskets" order last week included really nice organic concord grapes grown in Arizona. The seeds were a pain, but some of the best flavor I've had in a very long time.

We also grow our own chardonnay grapes in our back yard. We usually get so many, that we have to sun dry half of them.

Think globally, source food locally. It's good business all the way around.
