But you don't worry about it being damaged or stolen... freedom is something you can't put a price tag on!

I actually feel significantly safer on the highway than the surface streets. When I was doing social work though, one of the parents said she was literally knocked off the highway somewhere in Vegas and her and the car fell over 20 feet to a surface street.

Hey Las Vegas Drunk. Dont take this the wrong way but do you mind if I ask if you ever get fed up living the life you do? Personally I think there comes a time where you would want to better yourself. Have nice things. Not live in a crappy neighborhood. Have you ever thought about higher education? A trade? Or are you content living the way you do? I only ask cause I am curious to see how some peoples minds work. I am a bartender and I watch drunks come and go all night and I always think to myself there is no way they could enjoy living like that. Once again, not bashing you. Just curious.

Of course I do. In fact, I wish I would just die sometimes. If you want to know the truth, I would be more than satisfied with a decent apt and decent car. $30,000 a year would be more than enough for me to be happy. Of course, I do not have that. I live in such a horrible apt that I had to leave the apartment this morning for a couple hours because of the noise above me. Woke me up from a dead sleep at 8:00 am. In all reality, I am going to miss the life I have now in the near future. Now that I lost my job, it is only a matter of time before I am homeless on the streets again. Some people are meant to succeed, while others like me just aren't.
