Does anyone know of a shop that specializes in food from the UK?

International Marketplace has a whole aisle of UK food -- HP sauce, Wheetabix, Shandy, full line of Patek's, Heinz beans, etc. They also have frozen Aunt Bessie's, pasties, and pies in the freezer.

Bangers are best bought from Village Meat and Deli, Trop and Eastern.

And don't forget to add a slice of tomato. It's all about health.

Seems like it.

For the following - I apologize. I like Brits and don't mean to offend them. They're good, decent people that will brighten your day. But, their traditional foods really do suck.

I've been to 41 countries and Britain fulfilled the stereotype by having the WORST food I have ever eaten. I don't know how, but the English cooks have the remarkable ability to suck the flavor out of most any food they touch.

I was reminded of this when I inadvertently ate at a somewhat authentic English Pub in downtown Las Vegas (some friends wanted to eat there). It brought back my days in London when, if I wanted something good to eat, I learned to find a French or Italian restaurant.

I've been to 59 countries. English food is near the top of my list. Steak and kidney pie, the best dairy products in the world, really good root vegetables, and a fish culture that is second only to Japan. I don't know where you were eating, but I've never had a bad meal in England.
