I can tell you where it's NOT: Cabo Wabo Cantina at PH Casino...

my wife and I were at the original one in Cabo San Lucas, and the food was amazing!!

...we were excited to try it back here and....wow - worst thing I've put in my mouth since paste in kindergarten.

I no longer hang out in the east side of town since the Albertson's formerly at Bonanza and Eastern had Mexican flags on all the poles, but not one American flag, and it wasn't a Mexican holiday, it was everyday.

BUT! I'll bet the best Mexican restaurants are between Maryland Parkway and Christy Lane, or thereabouts.

Between Pecos and Nellis, in my experience.

Why ditch an entire section of town over one jingoistic grocery-store manager? Just quit going to Albertsons, and shoot them a letter telling them WHY. That should put a stars and stripes up.

I go to the Pepe's on Decatur (between wash/vegas) Tacos are pretty good, but I think the Tacos at El Buro Loco (sahara/valley view) is much better. The Carne Asada has more flavor and its more tender and juicy.

There's another discussion. Anyone who has spent any time in Mexico knows that those tequila slushies you get in this country ARE NOT margaritas.

When you start with Cuervo Gold you end with some pretty crappy drink, what most bars in States use for "tequila". But I've had some incredible Margaritas when done with great ingredients, some of them in Asian restaurants in Virginia and SF of all places.
