jfkIII, I got your joke, even though it went over some blow hard's heads. They probably don't even know how to pronounce Broo-teh. Apparently "Et tu" means, "even you?", although commonly thought of as "and you?".

But that's neither here nor there when it comes to coffee jokes. Obviously, neither you nor I take things so literally that we don't see the humor in things that sound similar. It's too subtle for some people.

I like Starbucks lattes and it ain't nobody's business. I like Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Company too, but they aren't as convenient as Starbucks. We make our own cappuccinos at home using one or t'other of those two brands. We jokingly refer to it as foo foo coffee, the name a friend of ours gave it. Other coffees taste inferior to me ...so what? Different strokes and all that...

When my wife buys a regular coffee, she sometimes puts lots of (free) cream in it and calls it a ghetto latte.

Anywho, if you want to plan a meet-up, just pick a time and place and tell everyone that's it; but to achieve the most success for an event, it's wise to give plenty of notice, and plenty of reminders, and ask for RSVP (which is French, not Latin, BTW).

Heh Heh...no National Park just lots of acres with lots of undomesticated critters wandering about along with a couple domesticated critters, good food, good coffee, good visiting and plenty of seating and parking.

So what you are really hinting at is we are just a bunch of undomesticated critters?

I wouldn't say you're totally undomesticated.

Ok, you caught me. I am just a wild animal that learned to use computers so I could get invited to a coffee meet.

This is starting to turn into a chat thread. If you aren't going to organize an event in SS's absence, take the chat to the chat thread that's already there.
