It's at 9785 W. Charleston Boulevard.

It's owned by the people who run the well-regarded Di Fara Pizzeria in Brooklyn. Supposedly DeMarco's not only importing its ingredients from Italy, but also importing the water used to make the crust from NYC.

Personally I believe it's mainly the water in the entire Southwest that keeps the pizza from tasting as good as it could, so I'm looking forward to trying it.

I've yet to try it, but I won't get my hopes up, whenever something is touted as "authentic NY pizza" I'm always disappointed...at least in my opinion and from what I remember as delicious NY pizza. Maybe I don't even know what authentic NY style pizza is supposed to taste like anymore, lol...

But anyhoo, the Pizza President likes it...cute story

Which is funny, Because Obama has been in Chicago for many many years, you would think he would prefer Deep dish, over Brooklyn neapolitan style..

Since I LIVE in BROOKLYN (when I am not in Vegas) I have no problem getting pizza
maybe I should make a care package for MomMom my next trip out!

FUGETABOUTIT!!

Jonathan

Hmmm, Place is off Avenue J and Coney Island Avenue, I will check it out and give youse guys a field report, Ayyyyyy

There will always be that debate between Chicago and New York pizza. I personally like them both, but I still hate Obama so that Dom Demarco's is off my personal menu.

You're so sweet! Honestly, I've been away from it for so long, that when we DO visit NY and have pizza that is supposed to be "the best"....both Mr.MM and I say "we can make it better back home" lol.

And that's what we usually do, make our own...

I'll give this Dom Demarco's a try, always willing to try places I've never been. And considering President O'Pizza liked it, it's worth a try, lol

My better half and kids went last month - said the food was average, but prices and service are horrible - wouldn't go again. Just go to Grimaldi's across the street, excellent food.

The pizza place cannot control who orders their pizza and likes it. Not supporting them because you do not like another customer of theirs is a bit extreme isn't it? I don't like Obama either and the BS they pulled with him staying out in Summerlin and closing off the highway and Town Center for him without any notice still has me pissed off, but I will not take it out on the place that fed him.

Will definitely check this place out in the future. Im always on the hunt for a new pizza joint.

By the way...

For all those that are so anti-Obama that you wont eat at any restaraunt or chain that he has visited. There is a web site out there that list every single eating establishment that the President has visited. I think it lists over 300 places and growing fast.(cant believe someone took the time to track that).

I wonder what will happen when Obama has eaten at just about every popular restaraunt in the country? People will be forced to eat at home.

Importing water is a total waste, and 100% marketing.

1) Take craptastic Las Vegas water.

2) Strip nearly everything out with reverse osmosis or distill it. (RO is cheaper in the long run.)

3) Add back minerals in the same concentration they've got in New York.

Whammo. New York water -- without having to truck it across the country. This is very, very easy to do. There are many websites for home beer brewers that explain exactly how to turn one city's water into another's.

You want Dublin's water? Pilsen's? Munich's? Burton on Trent's? Chico's?

All very simple to do.
