we looked really hard at solar. but a solar installer talked us out of it. and showed us how to make our house unusually energy efficient instead. search this forum for unusually+efficient to find what we did.

The "no downpayment" alternative for solar panels is a business model used by, for example,
Solar City . The business model relies on capturing state tax incentives for installation of panels & then leasing them back to you. See
Solar Lease Financing .
I don't think Nevada provides such tax incentives.
