So I'm a full time undergrad college student. I currently live in the Summerli area at home, but it has been getting extremely hard to concentrate and study in the environment at home.. I am on the fence about moving out, as I would have to start taking out loans, so I want to see first if there are any places I can study that are open 24/7. I know there is Madhouse Coffee on D.I. and Durango, but it gets quite busy and loud on the weekends.. not really the best place to study and read in quiet. I seriously can't find anywhere else I can, since the Summerlin library shortened their hours.

If not, I may have to move out if these conditions at home continue.. Does anyone know of any good apartment complexes in the Henderson area? I am looking for just a one bedroom in a safe neighborhood maybe in the 700ish price range. but all the ones I looked at that were under 700 seemed to be in high crime rate neighborhoods. I could probably push for no more than 800 a month for a one bedroom.

Thanks everyone!

All that comes up in a search is a bunch of coffee houses. Maybe one of these is better than Madhouse?

Places to study Las Vegas

As far as apartments, I recently took a look at these and they are awesome. However, they would not let me move in. They definitely fit your criteria and are under $700 a month.

If you were closer to Henderson, I could recommend some places. I have read that The Beat Coffeehouse & Vinyl is pretty cool place to study, but check their schedule to see what's going on. Evenings they have things like "open mic" and live music. There is a 24 hr Starbucks off of Ft. Apache and Trop (or something) - in that area. It's close to the freeway. Not too bad. I'm also looking for quieter places, but it's hard to find here in LV.

I'm thinking there's got to be a quiet spot somewhere in a casino at 2 in the morning. It may seem strange but its a lot cheaper than having to rent an apartment and all of that (utilities, etc). If there is chaos at home, you may need to leave independent of your school needs. Depending on your personality, you should look at renting a room from senior citizen who'd probably appreciate the company.
