Mock all you want especially with the amount of people being killed while walking/bike riding around town lately Las Vegas is not walk/bike friendly IMO.

Plus I never have to use A/C in California. Is A/C mandatory in Neveda?
Yes, you will die. It is only 110 today but in july it will be 130 or more! And if the heat doesn't kill you first, a drunk will certainly get you. AC is not only mandatory but many people have a spare window unit sitting in storage so they can survive if the main central unit goes out. The heat will kill you within minutes in the summer.

What other ways does Neveda get tax revenue with a zero state income tax rate?

In California my state income taxes is 9.3 percent.

If I get to keep 9.3 percent of my income I will gladly move to Neveda and put up with 120 degree summers.

is it worth it?
Nevada has 6 months of extreme heat and 6 months of extreme wind. It is not the 30 degrees that gets you but the 50MPH wind that is blowing the cold and the dirt and sand in your face while riding your bike. BTW, I do not recall when the last time it was that there was a freeze in Los Angeles although I know it has happened a few times in the past 100 years.

But to get to your point, remember this phrase - No car, no Vegas. It's as simple as that. While there may be times that it will be very pleasent to be on a bike (those times being NOT mid-summer), Vegas may be the worst city to try to function without a car.
You can wait in the heat and catch a city bus

A bike rack in Vegas is as useful as a milk bucket under a bull!

From reading this and some of your other posts about Las Vegas I think it is clear that you have never been here. 130? In your other post you mention 50 MPH winds and 30 degrees?

Don't take everything seriously. I was responding in jest to the OP who said it is "120 degrees" 6 months a year. Only in Nevada Energy's wildest dreams!

I'm curious as to WHERE all the anti-LV people are comparing to? Mayberry? Or another large/medium large city? I can say as far as bicycling goes, LV is MUCH better than Denver or Pittsburgh!
Yes, I'm comparing to Denver a lot. It's because that's where I've spent the last thirty years....where are you guys comparing to?

FWIW when I go home at 5 AM I see many people bike commuting....much more so than in Denver.
Here, there are almost always multiple lanes, large parking lanes, fairly level and well maintained streets. Like I said before, no one has honked at me either! I've had a few not give much room but it didn't seem intentional as I've experienced elsewhere.

I rarely have to dodge broken up asphalt or potholes. Plus just about every side street gets you where you're going because of the grid layout.

Sure it may get hot but the sun doesn't burn you nearly as fast here compared to Denver.

As an interesting (Maybe not!) aside....when I was in Denver the worst drivers for bicyclists seemed to be the Subarus with bikes on the roof!

There are bike SNOBS there! If you are a commuter cyclist, you are a lower life form unless you have the latest gear...yup! That means all the pretty neon spandex outfits from the last bike-a-thon or fourteener event you rode! Heaven forbid you wear jersey shorts and a tank top!
I do have a nice bike though, not top of the line, but nice.

What part of town are you biking around. I live around Trop and Eastern and it is most definitely not bike friendly.
