Anyone here have any experience, or know anyone who has any experience, with running any type of booth on Strip or on Freemont?

A friend of mine moving to Las Vegas is trying to start a T-shirt printing business online, and is thinking about working on the strip or Freemont as well. I'm sure that there are costs involved, and licenses needed. He's going to look into it, but I was going to throw it out here and see if anyone knows anything about it?

Thanks

Most of the strip sidewalks are actually private property. You're friend would likely have to rent the space from the property owner, if they would allow it at all.

I don't think it's not so much not permitted by the county, as the property owners don't want it.

Though I'd say it is very limited, there are and have been a few booth type vendors on the strip. Some are between Harrah's and the IP. There are more between MGM and PH. And there used to be some T-shirt sales on the other side of the street at times.

There are several booths in the carnival court between Harrah's and the IP. Don't know if that is being affected by Linq or not.

I used to work in the sports book at the Luxor. We had a a guy who would come in every sunday afternoon and bet 10k on the dog races. One day I asked him what he did and he told me he ran a booth in carnival court. Sure enough when I was down there one day I saw him at the booth. It must be quite lucrative.

I agree, but I bet the rent isn't cheap.

Well I'm going to suggest he at least take a look into it though.
I'm sure rent is really high, otherwize if you can make that kind of money why wouldn't everyone do it?

Thanks
