I don't know for cetain, but when we were about to buy a home there (several years ago) we wanted an inspetion and our realtor thought we were nuts. Everyplace we had ever lived and have since made it a requirement for home purchase. Not getting an inspection in Vgas really surprised me. Like I said, that was years ago.

We can pass the inspection, but all that has to be done is the dirt removed so that you can see 3 inches.

Since the last 5 years or so they are not required unless you are getting a VA loan or unless it is a conventional loan and the under writer requires it.

Thanks, I didn't know for sure, because we were buying many years ago, but I do remember the realtor, as I said, wondering why I wanted one? As it turned out we never moved there, both of the job deals feel through: damn!!!!
