I like the District a lot. It's too bad that Michal Fatali closed his gallery over there. I used to love strolling the gallery before hitting Lucile's for some yummy BBQ.

I'll second the recommendation on Boca Park too. Good shopping and a couple of really nice casinos nearby.

When I was speaking about North Las Vegas earlier, I was indeed referring to the general Aliante area. We don't have very good shopping though.

At least I am not the only one from Jacksonville that wants to move to Vegas. I have already found myself a place up in North Las Vegas since my friends and some of my family is based out of Nellis, but I will be working at McCarran. But I will be going to school at College of Southern Nevada. I love that area, and in some ways, it reminds me of Jacksonville, but with a view...
