i am looking to buy a home in henderson around seven hills or anthem and have heard about a toxic waste dump that use to be there? is this true. i have read some docs and some old threads but there was no real clear cut definite answer. and if there was is it clean now? i know the government likes to keep stuff like this hush hush and would probably endanger people before telling the truth in my opinion. thx.

that didnt help me much... dont care about a glow. im concerned about the toxic waste dumb and if has leaked out into the ground leaving levels that are to high to be close to day to day living.

Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Henderson are all on the top 10 worst municipal water supply list. DDT was simply poured out in the Henderson desert, nobody knows exactly where.
Las Vegas has a long and inglorious history of simply dumping chemicals -- from dry cleaning fluid to rocket fuel -- on the ground.
If you ask the government, they'll tell you everything is safe. Me, I don't have an acceptable threshold for ingesting heavy metals and toxins. You can search back a few months when we were discussing this before.
