Thought I would see KA but the only tickets that are left are ridiculously expensive at $162 a pop, which I feel isn't worth it by a long shot...was trying to find something in the $75-80 range...any recommendations? Mostly prefer dancing/music type shows or a play is good as well.

I am thinking of trying my luck with tix for tonite on Saturday morning.

I don't know where you're getting that price quote, but even Ticketmaster (arguably the MOST expensive place to buy tickets) has them starting at $84.

Shows to see: Love and Mystere are 2 good Cirque shows. I liked Mystere acrobats a little better and Love music a lot better. Cheap but entertaining show to see downtown is Gordie Brown. No dancing but fun music. All should be in your budget.

sounds like it is either for 2 people or maybe top seats. Shows have gotten totally out of sight but I agree, she is looking at something wrong. We had the same experience with O which 2 of us are going to on the 13th. My cousin couldn't find anything under $170, we got them for about $130, just not top of the line seats.

Now I have a question: our daughter wants to see a good comedy show, what do you suggest and please don't say Crazy Girls, it has to be the worst show in Vegas, I can't believe it is still playing.

I went to see Carrot top at the Luxor. but it is not a show. Stand up comedy if that is what you are seeking.

If you're open to more than just one show (limited seats for premium shows sell out) you can almost definitely score.

Blech! Do NOT see that cheesy hack, Gordie Brown. That was by far the worst show I've seen in Vegas and he's so overrated. He's so fake, even his laughter is totally forced/rehearsed. The jokes are lame, the songs are tired, his voice is not even that great. I left the show feeling oily and wanted to take a shower afterwards.

Absinthe!!

Went to see it last month on the advice of some people on this very board.
Was only about 60-70$ and was by far the best show I've ever seen, hands down.
Blows any Cirque outta the water.

One of the best values going is Rita Rudner. She kills me. She does a long standup routine that will make you split your sides laughing.

Absinthe ROCKS! I agree.... best show on the Strip. I love Absinthe as much as I hate Gordie Brown.

I think Absinthe has a "locals only" deal where tickets run around $50.
