Hey looking to stay in vegas for a weekend. Mid-20's guys, plan to gamble, drink, nightclubs. I was looking at these three hotels because i'm told these are the places that most of "my crowd" hang out around. Any suggestions or if there is a better place to stay? I want a suite but I also like keeping money in my pocket to have fun with since I probably won't spend the entire day in the hotel.

If you're willing to spend the money, suites at the Cosmopolitan are VERY NICE, very luxurious and IMO worth every penny

Even the standard rooms without balconies are impressive. Try to get a balcony suite though, or if you're money is good shoot a little higher for a much larger corner suite. Can't go wrong there

I have stayed at suites at all 3 places. The 2 bedroom sky suites at the Aria, the Penthouse suite at the Vdara, and the one bedroom suite at the Cosmo. I personally liked the Aria the best, it was very luxurious and was very futuristic. The cosmo was also very nice, you get a balcony etc. The Vdara was very ordinary, also there is nothing to do at the Vdara, and you have to walk to Aria in order to gamble etc.
Hope this helps!

"His crowd" might like the Palms too, don't y'all think? And if he wants to save money but be with a young crowd, how about the Rio? I've heard only good things about Cosmo, and I like what I see at Aria, although I haven't had any reason to see the rooms. I'd think any hotel from Mandalay Bay to Encore would be excellent ...except for Excalibur.

Thanks for the feedback guys. The Aria and Cosmo were hotels recommended to me by friends. I was told that the younger crowd in my age group tend to flock to these hotels. I looked at the Palms but I like the idea of being stumbling distance to other venues on the strip. I will definitely check out the encore before I book though.

Palms?
Have you seen the seniors line sitting outside Palms waiting for their return shuttle bus back to their senior housing?
