I own many houses in LV and have final say on all prospective tenants. Few have perfect credit, but I adjust for medical bills, and such. If they are weak in credit I ask for more advance months payment. I have received as much as six months in advance. People that live paycheck to paycheck are never a good tenant, one missed week of work due to sickness and the rent is late, and on it goes.

I rarely have vacancies as they stay because I am a good landlord, on top of any quality of life issues lie AC, water heater repairs, etc. All I own is single family houses.

As far as safe areas near the strip, one of my best properties in at Rancho and Okey, almost 3K a month for a house. This is next to Scotch 80's, Rancho Bonito Estates, a very upcoming area just north of the Palace Station.

Based on this incredibly descriptive information and comprehensive list of must-haves, you will want to rent two rooms at the Super 8 on Las Vegas Blvd.

Siegel Suites on Paradise might also fit the bill...

the person will have to ante up extra money..... first, last, security, and then some.... that is providing that there are no evictions on record.. if there are, then you are at the weeklies.
