I use to do that here when I first moved for extra money. The demand was not that great. I did find that not many people here use MACs. Most of the time when someone had a problem with their PC, I would back up their files and just re install windows. I did sway a few to switch to OS X after they started to put Intel Chips in them and I also used Bootcamp to run Vista/Xp

Unfortunate but, reality nonetheless

I understand. This is Nevada. The rate of pay is lower than SF. Like I mentioned before Sheriff, I have applied for low level employment. We're talking $10.00-$12.00 an hour range. Unfortuantely no one is calling.
Thank you for your imput.

There just aren't that many mid level management jobs in LV, especially in the resorts. Those that do open are generally filled from within, and many transfer from out of state to get the promotion. If you like LV, you may be better off to engage in some type of entrepreneurial endeavor.

Who usually are employed by the builder (the seller) and it is the seller who sets the price(s) - not the agents
Again, sorry this happened to your friend but, nothing personal - simply business

You got it now -
Prices change - that is a fact of life. Sometimes they go up - other times they go down - Same with real estate prices -
No guarantees when you buy something -

Greatday,
Like you mentioned in your previous post, things do change. It is safe to assume that you'll agree with me that the once hot job market in Las Vegas has stalled raising the unemployment rate to new levels.

No, not safe to assume any such thing - for, employment is low (except perhaps in the Construction industry).
In the service industry (a major portion of the employment base in LV), it keeps on rolling
The problem maybe that your skills are not needed in a town like Las Vegas - not all skills are.
As for other jobs? Lots of them. It simply maybe that some employers see you as over qualified and know you would leave in a heartbeat if something else came along?

True... if you were a Teacher, Nurse, Firefighter, Paramedic, HVAC tech, 911 dispatcher, Police Officer.. you would have a job in no time.
