Where do most young professionals stay? Also are their any filipino communities in LV? I am looking around the meadows mall area and also down in green valley/henderson.

The young are widely spread.

Try the south strip. Manhattan and similar condos tend to have a young populaiton. Another area is the condos between Trop and Sahara and west of Decatur. Park one at Charleston and Durango has hordes of young.

Filipinos are also widely spread. There is a concentration in the Meadows mall area and in the NW/NLV north areas. Check the location of the Filipino grocery stores.

There are lots of young people moving into the urban core - specifically the older neighborhoods like Huntridge/John S. Park and Paradise Palms. It's not for everyone, but these areas are close to the nightlife and also to the ethnic markets. There's one on Sahara and Maryland, as well as a Filipino fast food joint. Haven't been to either one myself though.

Really, Cap'n is right. Young people are all over the place and so are Filipinos. Your best bet would be to find a Catholic church with a big Filipino contigent and nearby would probably be your biggest concentration. If I'm not mistaken, that's in the Sunrise Mtn. area.
