Does anyone know about a Sewer Services Bill? I just got one for $243.00. Nobody ever told me about this one.

Yep. You get it once a year if you're a homeowner. There is a slight discount if you pay in full early (by July 31, I think).

Call them. You can pay it quarterly unless you are behind.

I sympathize. It is the first city I have lived in where sewer is seperate from water. My realtor warned me, but it took months before a bill showed up so I had forgotten. When the bill did finally arrive it was quite the surprise.

Same here. In fact, I started a smiliar thread when I received my first bill in July 2010. It still makes no sense to me to have this as a separate stand-alone bill.

Yeah, I have to admit that is cheaper than my sewer bill back east. I do hate that it is a separate bill. I'm also used to trash being included in my HOA. So what I do is every month I transfer $37 to my savings for trash and sewer. When the new year comes around, I'll have the money to pay both in full. Earn a few pennies off of it anyway.

Nope. Not by a long shot. But I do enjoy complaining.
