And the bottom line is, with respect to this thread, that if someone wants advice or assistance with getting a job, it would help to state a little more clearly what type of job is wanted.

DO NOT listen to those who say raising kids here is not a good idea. I do not understand people without kids saying that as we have lived in Pheonix, 2 towns in Ohio and Henderson and this is by far the best place. Everyone has thier own opinions and experiences, but we have 3 under 13 and would not raise them anywhere else. Especially if they like sports, because they play year round and going to sporting activities here is cheaper than almost anywhere else. No pro teams makes it better for a family to go see games that are just under the pro level. Everything is just right around the corner and we have met nothing but friendly people here. The schools are just like everywhere else-some bad-some average and like in the 89052 area almost all are top level because the parents try a little harder with the kids and the kids for the parents. I can say this as we are both teachers and have experience in different kinds of schools. We have more parks than any city we have lived in here and more activities to go out and do on a budget or free things to do than anywhere else we have been.

My daughter only went to Coronado for 6 months. In that time, she met more quality friends than she met at her hometown school in the WHOLE time she had attended there. I am not saying that she didn't meet friends in her hometown, it's just in such a short time she met so many nice people and their parents were very involved and concerned about meeting us. In SE MI, it was not the same. Kids would come over and stay and their parents were not concerned about meeting us! This was in a top notch school system that people in that area clamor to get into. So, yes, I agree with you. She was in 9th grade, which can be a difficult move and adjustment. She did great and the school was very accommodating as far as knowing the difficulties upon moving into a new place. If we could have, we would have stayed there until she graduated.

*but, I seriously think the OP went away, anyway.
