I'm looking for a one off type tasting menu restaurant on or off the strip. I was thinking Joel Robuchon's 16 course menu but they want to charge $125 booking fee for a party of 7. They consider it "group sales" for parties of 7 or more. So, I'm looking for other but similar options. Thanks for the help!

Well, just reserve a 3-top and a 4-top and then ask to be seated together when you arrive. Did you ask if the booking fee is deducted from the price of the meal? Usually booking fees are just a means to make sure you arrive for your reservation. They only matter if you no-show.

I asked, it is not deducted. They also require a $500 deposit, which I have no problem with, to make sure you don't no-show.

That's what I'm saying... If you're so busy you can turn down a $3-$4k table over $125??
