Soooo....if they were white hookers it would be better? Every casino on the strip has hookers. I worked at the Bellagio and when I was there, security would pretty much look the other way if they made an effort to blend. Every now and then they'd do a sweep to look good. Same thing when I worked at the Venetian.

Don;t know why, but the last two posts remind me of an old joke...What did the blind man say as he walked past the fish market?

"So nice to see you, ladies"

Default Egghead Central - Wind engineering of LV Stratosphere tower

WILD!
http://www.cppwind.com/papers/structural/StratosphereTower.pdf (broken link)

//
ABSTRACT
A wind tunnel model of the Las Vegas Stratosphere Tower was first tested as part of its
design in 1991, but this proved to be only the beginning of a long series of modifications and
additions that warranted additional wind-engineering investigations lasting through 2004. These
features included proposed changes in geometry, a proposed extended spire that would have
made it the world’s tallest free-standing tower, construction challenges that required evaluation
of wind loads on partially completed segments for limited exposure periods, the addition of
several amusement rides, and the proposed addition of a variety of broadcast antennas. Integration
of wind engineering and structural design concepts have allowed the extension of tower
operations by the addition of several new attractions without compromising structural integrity.

I have a friend that does CAD for YESCO. They had the specs and prints of that old sign and all agreed that it was gonna topple over the first time 40+ mph of wind hit it. They were right!!!

As far as locals Casinos the Orleans and the Cannery top my list.
Both down to earth environments and cheap food and gambling.
The Orleans also has nice waitresses
