You can run a business out of your home In Henderson. The info is in 'Business Licensing' Official Website of the City of Henderson, Nevada. Also, I would suggest home searchs by zip code, 89052, 89012 & 89074

I heard a rumor that you cannot operate a business from your home, in Henderson. Is this true?

I'm a single man and will probably buy a two bedroom house or condo. My problem is I am used to living in a small space and I really don't need a 3 bedroom house. My price point is $200k cash. But if I can get away with less I will risk less in a market that may be one of the last to recover.

Thanks for contributing to my knowledge of the area and your helpful suggestions.
You should already know this is information since your an CPA, I suggest you contact the city of Henderson regarding this matter rather than relying on a blog site.

Very few neighborhoods that are controlled by HOA's will allow home run businesses. Definately signs advertising such are not allowed. If you had a lot of traffic coming and going into your home and an ad running in the phone book, you would be shut down quickly.
