Even if there is an LA team(s) it doesnt mean all their games are shown. Back in the 90s they only showed the LA teams when their games warranted top billing. They usually will show the biggest games of the day on a national basis (which means plenty of NFC East games) and I doubt that changes in the future.

Irishspy, did your aches and pains go away immediatedly or did it take some time? I am hoping that will be my experience one day when we move there to LV. The dry weather must help alot with arthritis and all. Glad to hear you feel good.

Mrs. Tek found a web site that televises the Bears (She's a Chitown girl) when we don't get the game. I hook her laptop up to the 46" TV for video and sound.

Voila!!

When we were there for three weeks last summer I hurt less almost immediately. I don't have arthritis (at least the docs do think so), but something like Fibromyalgia and some other problems. Two days after we got home it started up again.

We moved here from Lake County, Illinois in July. I am originally from Chicago, my wife is Russian. So far she likes LV much better. Almost no traffic, weather of course, she has met a lot of Russians via meetup.com. My son started kindergarten and is doing well and all the parents are very nice. (Boulder City lives up to its reputation.) I am starting grad school at UNLV. We are still waiting on a short sale after 4 months. The most frustrating part of this move has been the housing market which we were not prepared for when we arrived. I love the hiking and I can't wait for ski season. The people have been friendlier than I was lead to believe by reading this website. There are a few I have met that are as dumb as a box of rocks but I don't know if I am stereotyping based on the bias I have acquired on this website. A lot of former Chicagoans. When we get a house, some time next year I hope, I will probably be much happier but after living with my mother for 4 months I am climbing the walls.

Don't forget all the buffets...My only real gripe is it's too hot for me to fish in the summer. Then again it's not as bad as some of the winters I have gone through.. Lawd I hate snow..

I'm sure I am in the minority as to why I moved here. I moved here in November due to "domestic issues" with my ex girlfriend. The reason(s) I moved here:

1.) Put some space between myself & my ex
2.) No income tax
3.) Cheap apartments compared to Salt Lake City
4.) I can commute to-from work (San Francisco) much easier. I'm in the aviation industry
